Our right standing with God is not from anything that we have accomplished or done but by what Jesus Christ has accomplished and done. However, it is up to us to put on our breastplate everyday in order to do battle in the Spirit with the weapons God has made available to us. The breastplate of righteousness will keep us from condemnation and protect our heart from every lie that our enemy spews at us.
