The Word of God, the Bible, the Good Book, these are names that we have used through-out history to describe God’s words to mankind. “The Bible says” is a statement that has been used to wield a sword dipped in guilt and shame to destroy people and it has also been used to bring comfort and hope to a lost and lonely world. Is the Bible the only way God speaks to man? No! However, He has given us His written Words to give us direction, hope, understanding, wisdom, and much more as we traverse this life. The Bible is part of the frequency where we can connect with God on a deeper and more intimate level.
