The Kingdom of God has certain characteristics, goals, attributes, and customs that reflect the King and His Kingdom. One of those characteristics is our King is a giver, therefore we are to be givers. Ask yourself the question, “Am I a Giver or a Taker?” Givers make things better; Takers gobble up the benefits on themselves. Are you an asset or a liability?

Our possessions are not ours. We like to think they are. We hold on to them as if we own them. However, as Christians we should understand and live as though God owns it all because in actuality He does. Where your treasure is your heart will follow and not the other way around; where you heart is your treasure will be. Take personal inventory, ask yourself, what do you treasure most? Where do you put your money, where do you spend your time, what do you do with your resources? There your heart will live.

The Kingdom Business and how the King wants business conducted has been written down in what we call the Bible, i.e. God’s Word. It is more than just words on paper, or some ancient piece of literature. It is His words of grace, mercy, instruction, and direction, for us His children, to use to live and conduct kingdom business.
His Word does several things for us. It is inspired and gives inspiration. These are God’s words straight from His mouth to us. Second it is good for doctrine which is nothing more than God ordained teaching. Thirdly, it reproves us. Sometime we get off track and the Word helps get us back on the right one. Also the Word corrects us. We all have the propensity to live selfishly and not see anyone else but ourselves. It instructs us in the way of righteous living. Our fallen nature is oppose to the goodness of God and we don’t intuitively know how to live. And lastly it completes us, meaning it throughly equips us to do works of righteousness.
Pastor Allen shares these principles and more with his natural humor and distinct perspective on life.

One of the things the Master wants us to do business with is a gift He has given us. We are to do business with the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not an option or a peripheral that we choose to use or invite into our life at our convenience. If we are going to be able to do the Kingdom Business we must have the power and ability to do it. We don’t have that power in us, that is why God sent His Holy Spirit ( the power of God) to empower us with what we need to do what we should.
The supernatural in the church in the past few decades has been compared and confused with the bizarre, weird and creepy. Actually the supernatural in the Church should be a normal, peculiar, extraordinary way of life. But we have regulated the Holy Spirit to revivals, special meetings and the unexplainable. We should be in-filled with the power of the Holy Spirit on a regular basis giving us what we need to lay hands on the sick, set the captives free, see the eyes of the blind opened and so much more.
The “gift” of the Holy Spirit is for you, your children and as many as the Lord our God will call. That pretty much includes everyone. So what are you waiting for? He is hear and He is waiting!

Many people think that our resources are things like money, talents, influence, giftings, abilities, and more. However, time is a commodity that we have all been given but we waste it on frivolous and insignificant things. Time is something everybody has and must be used wisely. God wants us to be good stewards of the time He has given us. Just as we should use the other “resources” in our life for the glory of God and to build His Kingdom, we should use our time just as wisely.

We have all been given something from God: talents, abilities, gifts, opportunities, influence, money, and much more. However, many of us take credit for what has been given to us when what we should be doing is thanking God for it and using it to advance His kingdom. God wants to get something to us and through us but we must not make the assumption that what God gives us is for our own consumption. We are not the owners of the gifts He give us. We are simple stewards of God’s gifts.

“We need each other.” If you have been in a church or any organization for more than a month, you have heard that phrase. We have said it so much we have grown numb to its power. But we really do need each other. As our world grows numerically and our cities and communities get more crowded, you would think we would get closer. However, study after study has proven that we are growing apart and more individualistic. The United States is more prone to individualism than most other countries in the world.

King David was a man after God’s heart, by God’s own admission. But before he became that man he had to fight some giants. Most Americans know the story of David and Goliath but there is a perspective to this story that few see.

There is a shift that is happening in our world today. Christianity is not openly accepted in our U.S. culture as it once was. Life as followers of Jesus Christ has come to the place where the line in the sand has been drawn and the choice is up to us whether we will cross it or not. Jesus told His disciples that "in this life you will have trouble but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

There is a world that is in desperate need of life. Amidst all the pain, suffering, hurt, and heartache people go through everyday there is a hope. There is a youth culture crying out for more than just the mundane, apathetic religion that it has been subject to over the years. We have to see past the dead, dry bones and see a youth culture that is full of the life of God. These bones can live.
