Humility is almost non-existent in our current American culture.  Why?  Because, our culture has bought into the lie that it's all about "me".  Humility is not the same thing as humiliation.  Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less and seeing others and their needs before your own.  Jesus, exemplified this everyday of His life while He walked this earth.  Even when He was faced with certain death and questions of who He was.  In humility Jesus spoke truth but never once did He try and defend Himself.  Why? Because He already knew who He was and didn't have to prove to anyone His authority nor His identity.  We can and must live a life of humility if we are to ever change the world in which we live.
