Humility is almost non-existent in our current American culture. Why? Because, our culture has bought into the lie that it's all about "me". Humility is not the same thing as humiliation. Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less and seeing others and their needs before your own. Jesus, exemplified this everyday of His life while He walked this earth. Even when He was faced with certain death and questions of who He was. In humility Jesus spoke truth but never once did He try and defend Himself. Why? Because He already knew who He was and didn't have to prove to anyone His authority nor His identity. We can and must live a life of humility if we are to ever change the world in which we live.

Jesus Christ is the most influential person that has ever lived or existed on the earth. Why? He has impacted every nation, every culture, and every people's groups that has come into being since His birth, life, death, and resurrection. But Jesus didn't come to just influence people and make people happy. He came to take over. Yes, He came to serve people not be served. But He is the King so Kings rule and reign and that's exactly what He will do. He didn't come to chose sides He came to take over!

There were two trees in the garden that God brought to the attention of Adam and Eve and they were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve partook of the tree of knowledge of good and evil of which God specifically told them not to eat from but they did and died spiritually that day and passed that spiritual death down to the rest of humanity. Unfortunately we have been eating from that tree ever since. Today Pastor Allen will show you what the tree of knowledge of good and evil produces and leading up to the tree of life for the following week.
