The family was and is God's idea. In the beginning He created male and female and He told them to multiply and that was the beginning of the family. The family in America has been under attack for decades but in the past 20 years or so even more so. Many people in America don't have a good experience when it comes to family. Their families are riddled with divorce, bitterness, un-forgiveness, hurt, pain, etc... However, God tells us that the family is a blessing. God also told us how to do family and be a family. This week Pastor Allen begins a new series on the family

God is moving. He has always been moving. We are the ones that can't or don't perceive it. God is doing a new thing. He is always doing a new thing. His Holy Spirit is active and moving through out the world no matter what the news, culture, social media, or others say. It's time for the church to moVE. Jesus was more than a philosopher. More than a great teacher. More than a Rabbi. Jesus was the rescue plan God had designed to set us free from the bondage that mankind was plummeted into back in the garden. Jesus had to take every shot Satan threw at Him in order to pay the ransom that was on our heads. Jesus was the only one that could have taken Satan's best shot to secure our eternal damnation Jesus' obliterated his best shot. We now have the power to walk in freedom over sin every day of our lives and live a life worthy of the price Jesus paid.

Fluid, constant movement, always changing, perpetual shifting. These words and statements are just a few that sum up life. It's hard to find anything that we can depend on. Anything that we can anchor to with the confidence that it won't move or be moved out from under us. Marriage, education, governments, etc... where things that were immovable. They were unchanging and could be depended on. What or who are you anchoring your soul to? If it is any of the previous things mentioned and many others you are building on shifting sand. The one who is always the same yesterday, today, and forever; Jesus Christ. Two-thousands years later He is still changing hearts and lives, just like He said He would.
