Giving, Money, Tithe, Finances. Words that make people uncomfortable when you talk about them, especially in the church. Jesus talked a lot about money and giving. Money is just one way God uses "things" to get His will accomplished. It is the love of money not money that is the root of all kinds of evil, Paul said. At the core of it all is having a heart of giving. Some people are able to give more money that others because their understanding and position has afforded them that opportunity. Whereas others have gifts and talents that those people don't have but both are responsible to have a giving heart. Remember it's not how much you have but what are you doing with what you do have. Money, talents, gifts, position, influence, and etc... What are you doing with what God has given you?

We are all believing, hoping, wishing, and/or praying for revival. We want revival!!!! Which comes first personal revival or corporate revival? Ezekiel was a young priest who had been carried away into captivity in Babylon. For twenty-two years he faithfully prophesied to his people, sharing visions that were given to him by God. The vision of the valley of dry bones is one of his better-known revelations. Though its primary application was for Israel, it is very relevant today. Get this vision: “We are on a battleground not a playground.” God is raising up an exceedingly great army to fight this war.

The Holy Spirit kind of makes people nervous. Why? Probably because He seems unpredictable. The Holy Spirit is the "power" of the Godhead. He is the one who empowers us with what we need to live an overcoming, victorious, and powerful life. What are you doing with the Holy Spirit? Do you invite Him to empower you on a daily basis? Do you allow Him the freedom to do whatever He wants in your Life? Do you trust Him? If you are taking care of business the way Jesus intended for us to then you will know the answer to those and more questions. If not then it is time to open up yourself to the kind, loving, powerful, and yes, sometimes unpredictable Holy Spirit.

We are at war. Not in the physical sense of war but in the spiritual sense of war. If we are to do business with what’s in our hands then we are to war in the spirit with the opportunities God gives us on a daily basis. We must be open and sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and direction to fight with what He has given us. God does not by accident. He is intentional with everything He does. That is why we must pay attention to His nudges, whispers, and proddings so that we can bring life and hope to a world that is caught in the clutches of an enemy who only wants to steal, kill, and destroy. We are to bring life, abundant life, just like Jesus did.

Taking care of business is stewarding what God has placed in your hands. One of the things God has placed in everyone of our hands is relationships. We have a responsibility and an honor to steward the relationship for the benefit of the other person and for the glory of God. How do we do that you make ask. First, realize that relationship can be messy. People aren't perfect. Be willing to forgive and be forgiven. Another way is realize you need others. God didn't create us to be alone. And we must invest in relationships with others. We don't use relationship manipulation but we do invest in people because they are valued by God and by us.
