"We live in crazy time." I am sure every generation before ours said the same thing about their times. However, the time we live in is saturated with so much information and an over abundance of negative news as well as good news that our souls are having a difficult time dealing with it. We were not created to be consumers of information and data. Many in our world are having a difficult time dealing with it all. Jesus, has an answer to it all. You can master your soul and craziness in our world by keeping your heart and soul in touch and in tune with Him. Today we will see how we can master our soul

Words are some of the most powerful if not the most powerful tool or weapon that we have. It all depends on how we use them. God has told us as His followers how we are to wield these words. He has given us instruction as how we are to use them with Him and with others. Our words can hold life or death within their grasp the choice is up to you. What we say truly does matter. It matters in the here and now and in eternity. How will you use your words? To bring life or death?

It's not just about doing but about hearing His voice and moving forward with His desire to see the world set free from it's bondage. It's hard to take care of business if we can not hear Him speak to us. His word, written and spoken (not preaching or prophetic) to us is paramount in advancing the Kingdom of God. We must be receivers and doers of the word. Pastor Allen ends an 8 week series on doing the best with what God puts in our hands.

We get the cart before the horse many times and either get ahead of God or miss Him all together. What are we supposed to do in the meanwhile while we wait? However, it is difficult to share His love if we have never even experienced that love first hand. Many people go to church, talk about the love of God, they even help the poor and the oppressed but it is all done from human effort and striving. As true follower of Jesus we have had the love of God "shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit" and now we don't have to work love up it flows out of us freely and restricted. We give it away like there is an endless supply because there is. Freely give because you have freely received.
