One of the most important things that we have been given the task of stewarding well is the awesome and overwhelming love of God. However, it is difficult to share His love if we have never even experienced that love first hand. Many people go to church, talk about the love of God, they even help the poor and the oppressed but it is all done from human effort and striving. As true follower of Jesus we have had the love of God "shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit" and now we don't have to work love up it flows out of us freely and restricted. We give it away like there is an endless supply because there is. Freely give because you have freely received.

We are called to live supernatural lives as followers of Jesus Christ. Why? Because the world is in desperate need of us to. Jesus, left us the Holy Spirit to empower us with what we need to be His hands and feet to a world that is beaten, battered and bruised. We are to live supernatural lives on a daily basis. Jesus, even told us to do greater works than the ones that He did. We immediately take the position of "I can't do that, Jesus raised the dead. I am nobody special." Well, obviously Jesus knew what He was doing cause He left us the Holy Spirit to infill us so that we could do just that, change the world."

Giving, Money, Tithe, Finances. Words that make people uncomfortable when you talk about them, especially in the church. Jesus talked a lot about money and giving. Money is just one way God uses "things" to get His will accomplished. It is the love of money not money that is the root of all kinds of evil, Paul said. At the core of it all is having a heart of giving. Some people are able to give more money that others because their understanding and position has afforded them that opportunity. Whereas others have gifts and talents that those people don't have but both are responsible to have a giving heart. Remember it's not how much you have but what are you doing with what you do have. Money, talents, gifts, position, influence, and etc... What are you doing with what God has given you?

The Holy Spirit kind of makes people nervous.  Why?  Probably because He seems unpredictable.  The Holy Spirit is the "power" of the Godhead.  He is the one who empowers us with what we need to live an overcoming, victorious, and powerful life.  What are you doing with the Holy Spirit?  Do you invite Him to empower you on a daily basis?  Do you allow Him the freedom to do whatever He wants in your Life?  Do you trust Him?  If you are taking care of business the way Jesus intended for us to then you will know the answer to those and more questions.  If not then it is time to open up yourself to the kind, loving, powerful, and yes, sometimes unpredictable Holy Spirit.
