To live a life that is unshakeable you have to build it on something that is unshakeable. The Word of God, whether it be written, spoken, or revealed will never die. Though the grass withers and flowers fade His Word stands forever. If that is so according to 1 Peter 1:24 then His promises are unshakeable and forever. We can build our life on His promises because He will accomplish what He says He will do. When God speaks it, it will be done.

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. There is a whole lot of shakin' going on. Shake and Bake. Our world is being shaken with all kinds of hurts, pains, sorrows, circumstances, deaths, you name it. How are we supposed to stand strong when the world is falling apart around us? We stand on the unshakeable. What's unshakeable? God and who He is. Not what we think He is but who He says He is. Though the world make fall apart and pass away, God and His word will last for eternity. He is unshakeable.

We currently live in a very confused, mixed up, weird, and crazy world. Where right is wrong and wrong is right. Where black is white and white is black. It's a "bizarro" world. So as followers of Jesus Christ and people who truly want to make the world better even if it cost us, what are we to do? Since the world is changing so fast, how do we keep up with it, or should we even try to? What are we to do? God has a plan and a way that we are to conduct ourselves as His children in times of crisis and craziness.

God has called us that are followers and lovers of Jesus Christ to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. What does that actually mean? If we are going to be living and breathing sacrifices it means we must make ourselves vulnerable to the Holy Spirit’s leading and allow Him to revel to us who Jesus Christ really is. When we do sacrifice it becomes easy in the fact that we understand with our heart and head that it has nothing to do with us, but it is all about Christ in us “the hope of glory.” He empowers us to be a living sacrifice.

Fear is a tool the enemy uses against us to paralyze us, immobilize us, cripple us, basically trying to bring us to a stand still. When he is able to do that we then are not threat to him and his kingdom. However, Jesus our King has told us to "Fear Not". We we put our complete and total trust in Him He then empowers us, invigorates us, strengthens us, and gives us the necessary tools to advance Him and His kingdom. When we do not fear we are a lethal threat to the kingdom of darkness. So, we must Fear Not!

For far too long the Church in America has been living in the shadows. She has excused her behavior with theological rhetoric and the success of yesterday. However, God has placed with in her one of the most powerful elements in the universe; Light. We, the Church, the called out ones, followers of Jesus Christ, are the light of the world. The world desperately needs the Church to be the light. Light always opens up the path to a future that can only be lived in the LIGHT and not in the shadows.
