Fashion changes daily. Design is constantly changing along with people's belief system. We as followers of Jesus are to remain steadfast and secure in who He is and what He has promised. In an ever changing world we can know that God is immovable and consistent no matter the circumstances.

There are so many things in this world that are vying for our attention, adoration, and worship.  Everyday is a struggle just to not pay attention to them, scroll past them, or ignore them.  If they would cause us to worship anything but God, they don't need to be simply ignored they need to be defied.  To rebel against it. To tear it down.  Demolish it, or whatever verb you want to use.  As followers of Jesus Christ we are not gonna bow to no one or no thing other than Him and Him alone!

Build on a strong foundation and it will last and even thrive in and through the storms of life.

Giving is part of who we are as followers of Jesus Christ. Giving is what has set us apart from most religions. It is one of the traits that has set the United States apart from other countries. However, in our current culture giving is less and less becoming something to aspire to and something that is shunned. It is more about what you can get than it is what you can give. The scriptures tell us in the book of acts that it is more blessed to give than receive. Giving is greater than receiving. Jesus Himself exemplified this to the highest degree and as His followers we should too. However, it should flow naturally rather than do it as obedience to a law.
