God did not create man to be alone. He created man for relationship. Relationship with Him and relationship with each other. Jesus Christ, Himself understood the importance of connecting with others. His closest friends were Peter, James, and John, and then the other 9 disciples. He spent a lot of time with them. Not just pouring into them but allowing them to pour into Him. Some people might think that because Jesus was the Son of God that He didn't need others. According to the gospels Jesus did. We need each other. We were not meant to do life alone. Connections matter. Connect with others.

When Moses asked God, when He was in the form of a burning bush, who he should say sent him to set let God's people go God told Moses to tell Pharaoh "I Am" sent him. What does that mean? "I Am"! Fast Forward four thousand years and Jesus Christ declares the same thing about Himself. God and Jesus are one in the same and He is all that we could ever imagine and more. But what does that mean to us as His followers. First, we understand that He is above all, and over all. That gives us a security and a confidence that the world is desirous of. Second, we understand that there is so much in a name. I am represents God's power, authority, strength, mercy, love, kindness, holiness, the list could go on forever. When the revelation of God being "I Am" is reveal to you. You will never be the same.

Money is not inherently evil. It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. Money and riches are nothing more than a tool that can be used for evil or good. Jesus talked more about money than just about any other subject. Why? Because He knew it was something every human has to deal with. If we see money, riches and treasures the way God wants us to it has the potential to not only change your life but the world around us.

The Church of Jesus Christ is a family. The Family was God's idea and not a man-made construct. When we treat each other with detestation, dislike, animosity, and abhorrence, it breaks the Father's heart and He takes it personally. Why? Because His love for us is strong and wants our love for one another to be strong. We are His children. We can and will disagree but we must not disrespect. We must see each other in the body of Christ through the same lens God sees us. That lens is love and honor. It is a personal thing to God and to each other when we destroy and devour one another. The world will know that we are His followers by our love one for another.
