Death or life is on each of our lips and it's our choice what we will speak. You can bring life to the world around you by unlocking the power of your words, by speaking life. Or you can bring death to the world around you by speaking words of despair and destruction. The choice is up to you. You have the power to affect the spirit world as well with your words. You can unlock the power of God's word by speaking it or unlocking the power of the kingdom of darkness by speaking words of mayhem and confusion. The choice truly is up to YOU!

Everybody on earth has a mom. You can't be born without them. You need your mother in the most basic form and function. But our moms are more than just moms, mothers, mammas, etc... They are women, ladies, females that have wishes, hopes, dreams, feelings and more. We are part of them and their input into our life is more than just important it is necessary and vital. This week lets look at a few lessons that we can learn from our mom!

Hope is in scarce supplies these days. You open up a news app and they don't offer much hope if any. Doomsday this, doomsday that, life as we know it will never exist again. Wow, that's a pretty big pill to swallow. However, we as followers of Jesus Christ have a living hope in which we place our trust in. If Jesus predicted his own execution, death, burial and resurrection and pulled it off, I would say that's a living hope! He overcame death, hell and the grave and that same hope is offered to us.

Obedience is not always easy. When times are difficult or we don't understand something, or we are just rebellious, choosing our way seems good. However, our physical obedience to God will release several things in our life that will take us deeper, farther, and higher in our relationship with Him.

In the midst of uncertainty and confusion there is always one who will always be there for us. He is not shook or fearful of tomorrow. He controls today and tomorrow. If that is the case then what do we worry about? Our trust is not in the system of this world. Not in the economy, governments, religious organizations. Our trust is in Him and Him alone!
