Now more than ever is a family blessing needed in our society. In the book of Genesis it show us how important a family blessing was to Esau. A family blessing brings acceptance, helps them develop, teaches them about relationships, and gives them security. Have the blessing of your family is more important that just having their permission. We live in a soceity and world where the family unit has fallen apart and millions of people are suffering because they don’t understand family and are missing out on the blessings that come from being in a family.
There are five basic elements of a family blessing. First, there is meaningful touch. A hand on the shoulder can affirm a son or a tender hug can bring comfort to a daughter. Second, there is spoken word. Say what you need to say. 90/10 rule. 90 percent of the time should be positive, life-giving words and 10 percent where you are disciplining and correcting. Third is attaching value to the one. Remind your child, no matter how many you have that they are valuable. Fourth, show them a picture of their future. Show them that you believe in them that they have a destiny. Fifth and lastly, have active commitment in their lives. Take personal responsibility. You as a parent will never be able to do that if you don’t have the relationship with God you should. That is why it is so important that we humble ourselves and develop a deep, personal and intimate relationship with God, so we can bless our family.

061216 | The Accuser | Allen Hickman

Monday Jun 13, 2016
Nobody likes to be accused of something they didn’t do. Nor, do they like to be reminded of their past failures. If you want to tear somebody down and keep them under your thumb accusing them on a regular basis will help you do that.
That’s exactly what our enemy, Satan does to us. The Bible tells us Satan is the “accuser of the brethren”. His goals of accusing believers and reminding them of their past is to separate us from God, the truth, our relationships and from the place where we know we should be. The Accuser wins when we stop and listen to his accusations and lies. When we lose the ability to discern godly truth from human facts the enemy wins. And when we actually speak out loud the accusations and lies he spreads he scores a victory.
You might ask, “what do I do in the face of his accusations?” First, agree with him quickly when you know he is right. “Yes, I once was like that, but God...” When you do, it takes the bite out of his accusation. He has no power. Take your thoughts captive and replace them with the truth of God’s Word and what He says about you. Then say out loud the promises and truths that God says about you. Do this on a daily basis and you will thwart the accusations of the enemy. Jesus has come to make intercession. Satan lives to make accusations!

060516 | Take The Position | Allen Hickman

Monday Jun 06, 2016
Life is not as easy as “they” say it is. However, it can be if we understand a few things about our position in Christ. Joshua knew that in order for him and the children of Israel to take the city of Jericho, which was one of the mightiest city in the world at that time, they were going to have to be in the right position. There are few lessons we can learn from this biblical example. Joshua asked the wrong question when the angel of the Lord appeared to him. It is not our efforts that will win the day. We must depend on and trust in what God’s plans are. If we are going to be able to do that we must lay down our pride.
There are three positions we must take in order to be victorious and live that way our whole life. First we must take the position of recognition. We must recognized whose battle is it in the first place. God is not on our side but we must be on His side. Second, we must take the position of reception. We must be ready to receive from God the good and the tough things. He has a plan and it’s way better than anything we can conjure up. And lastly, we must take the position of resolution. We must resolve ourselves to the truth that no matter what God ask the answer is yes. We must learn to stand on and live by His Word. When we take the right position then and only then will God give us the instructions that we need.

052916 | We Will Never Forget | Allen Hickman

Memories can be our ally or our nemesis. It’s all in how you use them. Mankind has a propensity to remember the negative and throw out the positive with the “bath water”. However, we must learn that God has created memorials in our life to help us remember His kindness, love, grace and power. We must take the time to stop, think and remember. We then need, to not keep those memories to ourselves, but to tell others. Our children, our friends, our family and our world must know about the greatness and graciousness or our God.
Once Joshua and his generation had died, the Bible says,“there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel. The sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals.”
How could a generation forget about the great works of God in the previous generation’s life? Because the older generation forgot and never instilled the stories and values into the future generation. May we not, be a generation that forgets. May we pass it on by the way we live our life that it would be a memorial to the power and greatness of our God.

052216 | Come Just As You Are | Allen Hickman

Faith is a simply and uncomplicated part of our spiritual walk. We simply believe and obey. That is a lot easier said than done. Faith is not always easy to have in the midst of the storms of life. Sometimes things don’t always look like we thought they would in life and it’s difficult to see things the way God sees them.
The disciples of Jesus in the book of Matthew had a realization of faith when Jesus came to them walking on the water in the middle of the night. They all saw something that they had never seen before and immediately panicked and started screaming, “it’s a ghost.” But if they would have looked closer and listened intently they would have realized it was their master, Jesus calling out to them. The only one that paid attention to the voice of Jesus was the master wordsmith himself, Peter.
Peter asked if it truly was Jesus that He would same come and He did and now here we are thousands of years later talking about Peter and Jesus they men who walked on water. Peter came to Jesus just as he was, with all his failures, misconceptions and fears.

051516 | The Fire and the Covenant | Jacob Hickman
Tuesday May 17, 2016
Tuesday May 17, 2016
Pentecost is the day that we know as the fulfillment of the promised gift, the Holy Spirit, from the Father to the believers in the Upper Room. The disciples had been celebrating the Feast of Weeks, the completion of the seven-week counting period after Passover, when the manifestation of the Holy Spirit happened. The Feast of Weeks also marked the date centuries before when Moses received the Ten Commandments fifty days after God gave provision from the last plague in Egypt, the Death Angel, by the blood of a lamb, resulting in Passover. There was a covenant established then between God and man in the form of Mosaic law, but there was a new covenant established between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in the form of salvation provided by Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
Jacob Hickman, the Pipeline Young Adult Ministry Pastor, takes time to teach about the mysteries of the Mosaic Covenant and the Messianic Covenant, the promise of the Holy Spirit, and the importance of the indication represented by the fire.

050816 | Living Beyond Ourselves | Allen Hickman
Monday May 09, 2016
Monday May 09, 2016
Living beyond yourself is all about seeing God in the light of His love for you and for people. When you realize that God is not trying to get something from you but something to you and through you it changes how you live. Servanthood is more a state of being than it is a state of “doing”. If you are the servant that God has called you to be then serving others will come naturally. Serving will not be something that you have to “work up”. When it is motivated by true godly love, it is not a sacrifice because it is done from love and not selfishness.
When you are a true godly servant you unlock the Kingdom of God so that God can impact the kingdom of the world. You then become part of the redemption story for this generation. A servant will always be willing to go the second, third and fourth mile. Being a servant loosens unknown blessing on you and those around you.
Living for yourself ends in a dissatisfied soul but living beyond yourself will always produce the life of God in the world.

Wednesday May 04, 2016
God still speaks to His people today. God didn’t suddenly stop speaking
to the church because He just got tired of speaking or of us not
listening. Just as God hasn’t stopped healing people and performing
miracles. He still does that today. He loves us and wants desperately
to have an intimate relationship with us, that is why Jesus came, lived,
suffered, bled, died and was raised again.
Each year the
prophetic conference proves to be an amazing time with God and an
awesome time of Him speaking to and thru His people and this year was no
exception. The Church of Jesus Christ is desperate to hear from God
and He is more than willing to speak but we must position ourselves to
hear His voice by ridding ourselves of all the obstacles that inhibit us
from listening and hearing.
Pastors, Mark Jobe, Niles Holsinger,
Wayne Drain and newcomer Ron Teal team up to allow God to use them to
speak words of encouragement, declaration and hope to His people in this
years Worship and Prophetic Conference.
