The world in which we live with all its constant seizing of our attention, make it hard to focus, on pretty much anything. We are presenting with a myriad of options everyday of our lives. Most families in America have three or four streaming services in which they have countless options for us to watch and be entertained. However, we scroll through or swipe our way through window after window search for something to watch and eventually give up our search and just go to bed. We are wasting precious moments and are focusing on what truly is the main thing. Today we will learn how to keep the main thing the main thing.

Fatherhood and Masculinity is under attack today in our world. However, God and His Word has a lot to say about Fatherhood. The Scripture says that children are like arrows in the hand of a Warrior. Which means as fathers we have a great responsibility to train up our children in godly precepts and principles. We must be purposeful and intentional. Children grow up to be adults and those adults affect the world. The arrows that are in our hands as fathers are to be shot with great purpose, intent and focus. In the beginning God placed two tree in the middle of the garden of Eden. One was the tree of life and the other the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve were instructed by God not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. However, we all know how the story goes. Adam and Eve did what God told them not to do and plunged all of humanity into a life of sin and damnation! Wow, that's pretty dark you might say. Yes, it is but God... had a better plan. What about the tree of life, why didn't they eat from that one? They could have but didn't. We have that same choice today. Which one will you choose?

Christianity has been around since the day Jesus rose from the dead, well over 2000 years ago. It has been through numerous changes through out those millennia. God had and has a plan for the church, for Christianity. Satan wants to thwart that plan. How does he do that? By getting us to fight among ourselves. To make the normal seem to be extraordinary when in actuality being like Jesus, acting like Him, behaving like Him is what should be natural and normal. Normal Christianity is to be like Jesus, love like Him everyday.
