"We are living in stressful and unprecedented times." We have heard that said over the past two years hundreds, if not, thousands of times. However, stressful times have been around ever since there has been more than one human on earth. After Adam and Eve fell the enemy began an intentional and diabolical plan to affect, effect and infect their minds. Mental health has become more and more an issue in our world but also an issue in the Church of Jesus Christ. "These things ought not be." So how do you have a healthy mental state of being? The wilderness is not something that we should avoid but a place of solitude and change. We have always viewed the wilderness in the negative when it actually is a place of intimacy, teaching, and transformation. Yes, the children of Israel spent 40 years in the desert but they didn't have to. We will all go through a wilderness and maybe more than one but there will be a defining moment in a wilderness experience that will change everything about you and your relationship with God. Don't just survive the wilderness but thrive in the wilderness.

In a world that has so many opportunities for us to connect with one another there is an understanding that we are more disconnected than we have ever been. Not only does that affect our human relationships but our relationship with God. God has done everything that needs to be done to connect with us. The question is are we willing to reconnect with Him? Pastor Dan Finley deals with how we can reconnect and what do we do when we do reconnect.

Love. It has been defined by thousands of people over the centuries and we still don't seem to truly understand it. Why is that? Probably because love is more than a concept, more than an emotion, or a religious command. However, the law of love will change your life forever. God is love, Peter, one of Jesus' disciples said very plainly and straight forward. But can we love like God loves? Yes! "But how", you might ask. The only way any of us can, it has to come from Him and must be placed in our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit. When that happens we then can't help but love, it has now become our nature just like it is God's nature.
