Did you know that God wants nothing from you? That's right He want nothing from you other than simply being with you and being your friend. The only reason He created mankind was to be in a relationship with Him and bring life to and through us. Everyone on the face of the earth wants to be loved in some form or fashion. God has called us to a higher place than what we are living. Many of us are settling for "pig slop" when God is offering us His very best. We want what we want when we want it. When we force life to conform to our wishes, wants, and whims, it pushes back with a vengeance. We usually miss out on what our heavenly Father wants for us. It is guaranteed that what He wants for us is so much better than what we "could ask or think." The prodigal son in the scripture "came to his senses" and came back to the Father. From a distance the Father saw His son and ran to him and invited him home again.

Jesus Christ is not a person from history that influenced society. He was and is and will always be Savior, King, and Lord. The question is what is He to you? We all are building a house (our life) but on what foundation are we building on; religion, our own good works, the things of this world, our education, government? Jesus asked His disciples who He was and Peter spoke up and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus, replied that, "flesh and blood", meaning man's intellect didn't deduce that was who He was, but God almighty revealed it to Peter and upon that revelation knowledge He, Jesus would build His church and He has.

The foundation of any building is the most important part of the building process. You will never see the foundation, you will never probably think about the foundation but it is an absolute necessity to building a structure that will last. It is no different in our spiritual lives. Without a firm, solid foundation we are destined to fail. One of the foundation truths that we must know, understand, and have revelation about is the grace of God and the state of man and sin. Sin as a noun and not a verb. We commit sins because of the sin nature we are born with. But, God!

Having an unshakeable foundation is more than knowing intellectually that Jesus Christ is who He says He is and He has done what He has said He would do. It is knowing and having the experience of Him changing your life in which afterwards all things in your life change. It is the "kyregma" or the proclamation of something that has happened and now everything will never be the same. We have been changed from the inside out. Now our lives are on an unshakeable foundation!

To live a life that is unshakeable you have to build it on something that is unshakeable. The Word of God, whether it be written, spoken, or revealed will never die. Though the grass withers and flowers fade His Word stands forever. If that is so according to 1 Peter 1:24 then His promises are unshakeable and forever. We can build our life on His promises because He will accomplish what He says He will do. When God speaks it, it will be done.
