We are at war. It's an unseen war. It's a war that's not against flesh and blood but a war in the heavenlies, against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness. There is an art to the way God wages war. We as His children come along side of Him and allow Him to work through us to pray, praise and power our way to a victory that He has already won.

The foundation to all countries, nations, people groups and societies since the beginning has been the family. In the past 50 years the family has been under attack especially in more "progressive" countries. If we allow the family to breakdown then our societies will breakdown and eventually our world. We must build strong, healthy, and close families but we can't do that without God perspective and done His way, the creator of family. Build on a strong foundation and it will last and even thrive in and through the storms of life.

Giving is part of who we are as followers of Jesus Christ. Giving is what has set us apart from most religions. It is one of the traits that has set the United States apart from other countries. However, in our current culture giving is less and less becoming something to aspire to and something that is shunned. It is more about what you can get than it is what you can give. The scriptures tell us in the book of acts that it is more blessed to give than receive. Giving is greater than receiving. Jesus Himself exemplified this to the highest degree and as His followers we should too. However, it should flow naturally rather than do it as obedience to a law.

Mainly to gather more strength by teaming up two animals of like nature and stature. This would enable them to have more power for certain task. Be it farming, pulling or moving heavy items, etc... As followers of Jesus Christ we are too "yoke up" with Jesus and be a formidable force that the world needs. However, they are some "yokes" that we aren't suppose to take up. Today's message is about finding what not to "yoke up" with and how we are too "yoke up" with Jesus and with one another.

RLM believes in the next generation. They are not the church of tomorrow they are the church of today. There is no junior Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that moves and leads us as adults is the same Holy Spirit that moves and leads the next generation. That is why the Jrnyth (The Journey Youth) are leading the service today. You will hear from young people as God uses them to lead us in worship and you will be encourage and challenged as you hear and see how God is moving in them and through them.

Jesus Christ is not a religious figure, or just a christian icon. He is God come in the flesh. But why did He think it was imperative that He come to earth as a man? Was it because Adam and Eve messed things up so bad that we couldn't fix it? Was it because He wanted revenge on mankind for destroying what He had created. No, no, no! He came so that He could make all things new and that most importantly included us, mankind. If we are in Christ we are a new creation and the old things are gone. He has come to make you new!
